Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
The blessings we ask for this season
Aren't the kind that come wrapped with a bow;
We're asking for gifts from the heart,
Ones we need and never outgrow.
May we see in these bright decorations
With their colors and lights all aglow,
The beauty and wonder of life
That God's world was created to show.
Let the peace and goodwill of this season
Be feelings that we can extend
Far into the following year
To our neighbors, our family, and friends.
Most of all, may we always remember
To open our hearts every day and share all the love and the joy
In a special and meaningful way.

GGY, yes yes, got a few of his as well. Lust for Life's a classic & the best compilation by `Universal Masters Collection' self titled. He sometimes went off a bit but that's OK. Accept I ain't got his voice. {and I wish I could write songs like him, mine just meander sideways, somewhere. i blame my brain of course. Or as Tom Waite said: `the piano's been drinking again' and on that deep and meaningless note/discordant chord I'll leave ya and your alter persona to dazzle and irradiate the cosmos.....Nick Cave has his moments as well. Oh yes a Seattle band with a great woman singer is `Fockewolf's: Die Toten Weg' [away with the dead] in anglese, more heavy haunting loaded sounds. Actually I got most of my leads from a great internet radio stn www.radiofreeabottoir.com. That guy's got the pulse alright. Now I'm definately fading away, pffft, ping, dong, clonk [that's my brain shutting down], thanks for the suggestive fork, hope it's bent....

beepa66-I'm seeing double. recovering with -not from a hangover. You remember Siouxsie. Saw her years ago in Sydney. I'm also into `Curve' who have re-released their old EP's on CD. and that great woman has teamed with the other one from `Collide' got all theirs too with `The Secret Meeting' by `Ultrashiver', just in case you wanna get some more music. If that's of any use. And we have something in common: depression, down into the black hole and out into a supanova. Beats being sane, that part scares me. -`I'm only happy when it rains' by Garbage says it all: `I get high of my deep depression...'she singeth...>>>>I byte/bite into life and sometimes in bytes/bites back!-woof woof or meow-which brings me to the woman on `Switchblade Symphony's' live CD....I could on, stop me before I hyperventilate....pfffft....wanna be friends? my bifurcating brain can handle double sentients.....if a fork can changed you life, very DADA, then there's hope for me yet [though I doubt it]
