Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hi Revvell and thank you for checking out my profile page. WHEW! I am up to my armpits with author promotions at this time. But I'm certainly not complaining - I LOVE IT!

I've been hanging out at your profile a lot today listening to podcasts you've done and they're WONDERFUL! I even joined your Author Coaches Speakers & Podcasters group and look forward to connecting with everyone there as soon as I have my profile page going there too.

Again thank you for connecting with me and your page here is definitely going to be a favorite hang out for me!

About Me and My Book:
I've actually got two books. The first, Revvellutionize Your Life in 30 Days ~ A Self-Empowering Playbook I originally wrote for me. When I realized that all the processes in the book were what I used to change my life I decided I needed to publish it and did so.

The second book is called Smoothies and Smoozies for Life. It is a compilation of smoothies, puddings and "ice cream" all made with raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. A really healthy way to get more of these items into one's food program thus creating and/or maintaining health.

Interviews by The Book Crawler

So far I've done two exciting interviews with two authors. One, Taryn Simpson, author of The Mango Tree Cafe, Loi Kroh Road was such fun. The book is awesome. Please listen here to learn about the author, find out what a ghost writer really does and what it takes to collaborate with another author you've never met and who lives an ocean (or two) away. Here's our interview: http://podcast.thebookcrawler.com/2007/08/15/revvell-interviews-taryn-simpson.aspx

Communicating

Last night Annie Lawrence, a new "friend" from http://bookmarket.ning.com/profile/Revvell and I connected and did some masterminding. We are both coaches and authors. What a great session we had! I learned more in an hour with her than I have with many paid professionals. She's certainly done her work. Seems I've got some catching up to do as an author ~ one being, up-grading both my books so they'll be what I envisioned them to be AND getting going on another I have in mind.

My husband, being… Continue
