- My name is Michael A. Oden, I'm a Security Consultant and Author. I've been in the Security Industry for 23 years starting out as a Security Specialist in the US Air Force. The title of my book, "Observe And Report" is a collection of nonfiction on the job stories about real Security Professionals. These stories are at times humorus, sad, frightening, touching but always real. This book was written to give society a glimpse behind the curtain to better understand what it's like to work in the Security Career field.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

I'd love to be of assistance whenever you are ready. Booklets are a great way to get more bang from your marketing bucks, whether you're marketing a book or a business (actually, if you are an author you DO have a business!).
By the way, I don't know if you've been to my website, but it's currently undergoing some changes. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the week. my blog at the site, however, is current and full of useful information for anyone thinking of creating a booklet.
