About Me and My Book:
Me:
I am an emerging Canadian author living in Edmonton, Alberta. At age ten, I met a local author and knew right then and there that writing was all I ever wanted to do. A published author, I am a member of the Writers Guild of Alberta and have earned a diploma in Creative Writing. When I am not planted in front of my laptop, I can be found spending time with my husband and son, reading or watching movies.
My Novel:
In a land called Cantro, the Goddess Saros created eight races. One has been wiped out by another. Or so it is thought…

Nell has been raised in solitude by her Elf guardian. Her world is turned upside down as she is told she is in fact Human, a race thought to have been destroyed by the savage Garshu. She must now join forces with the few remaining Humans in the land, and fight to take back their right to exist.

Be sure to check out the photos page on my website at www.kellykomm.com and see some photos I've posted from recent events like the World Fantasy Convention and an event I did with the Scarlett Sisters!

Both of these events were fantastic and I had so much fun attending them.

Fall is nearing!

I know it's been a while since I blogged, but I decided to take a break this summer from a lot of writing related activities. Now that fall is approaching, it's time to buckle down and get back to work!

I'm currently a feautured author on a fantastic site called BestSelfPublished.com. They've interviewed me and this is one interview you'll want to check out! They had some totally different questions than I've ever been asked and it was so much fun! The link to my interview is: http://bestselfpu… Continue

By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
