Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your comments. Your book sounds interesting. Actually, Herochik is of Slovak origin. However, it's my ex-husband's name which is no problem since my husband and I are good friends with him and his wife. I am also of slovak descent on my mother's side with dutch, german and English on my dad's. Yes, I am a true mongrel (Just like Barack)

Hello Again, Steve,
Glad your Monday was cheered. Far too many in today's Britain, I'm afraid, of those meddling jobsworth types strutting about. They should all be banished to the windy end of some carpark somewhere, as far away from the rest of us as possible.
Good luck - Peter

Hello, Steve,
Thanks for your reply.
I took note of the affront perprated on Anglo-American relations by some jobsworth in a peaked hat at Cardiff Castle, and have arranged to have the blighter transferred forthwith to the windy end of the public carpark.
What were you doing in Essex?
I live in a small village called Pembridge in Herefordshire - one shop, two pubs (one with, blessedly, with no TV or fruit machines, just conversation and beer drawn like nectar from the wood).
Hope your Sunday goes - Peter.
