About Me and My Book:
I am a life coach and although my name is in the acknowledgements of "You Can Make it Big Writing Books.." by Jeff Herman and a piece of my writing on finding a mentor is in the book "GirlWise.." by Julia DeVillers, I am not yet a published author. However, I have started my first book and I am using guidelines from a few author friends.

I joined this group to gain insights that I can pass on to my clients and friends who are published and future authors. I also find that marketing a book is similar to marketing a business or service based marketing. It is all good!

Also, if anyone is interested, I have a website for girls and often times advertise "feature" books in the header of each page of the site...www.EducatingJane.com. However, I do not guarantee a review-sorry. The site's target audience is girls age 13-21 and the traffic is pretty good. Contact me if you are interested in sending in a book for consideration and I will give you the address.

Many blessings! Dawn Nocera

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
