Believe in yourself, step out in faith

"Believe in yourself"
Sometimes we have to believe in ourselves.
Many will settle for us to stay hidden on a shelf.
We have to step out in faith, in order for the race to be run.
It may not be a game, nor a whole lot of fun.
Atleast! The battle will have begun.
We will be proud of ourselves, knowing that we've done all that we can do.
What a glorious day when our lives seem more sunny and blue.
Man will let us down, but God will be there for you.
Never give up on you, your hopes and dreams, so g… Continue

The Biggest Case Scenario of Abuse

The Biggest Case Scenario to the continuation of “The Lives of Abused and Battered Women”

Men have gotten by with abusing women for centuries. When the first man got by with it I feel that it gave the other men the nerve to abuse their women also. If the men had been judged, or condemned for their action… Continue

"A Hand to my sisters"
It's my intention to be there for you with a kind word and a helping hand.
To be able to reach you no matter where you are, so know that I care, I hope you understand.
Giving you hope in the midst of your trials or storm is what I've planned.
I will constantly send you prayers all th… Continue

I have you beat!! I will be 67 in January, but our ages only gaurantee that what we say has been backed up by experience. (smile) It is my pleasure, once again, to be your friend. Take care. Paris

You can count on it. In the near future we shall connect again and begin to move forward. Have you heard of the FortyPlus and Fabulous movement? Check it out, there maybe something of interest to you. Even if you're not yet 40, you have much experience and wisdom which will be of benefit to women. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter; I am ORIGINALPARIS.

Dear Barbara, Thank you, I am fine and hope that you are the same. I looked at your wordpress site and was surprised, but comforted, to know that we have lived similar lives. This similarity gives us an opportunity to support each other in furthering the cause of women learning to take care of themselves and their children. For years I have worked to bring attention to families involved in child abuse, which often includes spousal abuse. Currently, however, I am working on my "Restore Childhood Project" to bring back the opportunity for children to be able to enjoy being children rather than expected to endure adult responsibilities. I hope we will stay connected and look forward to getting to know each other better. Take care and God bless, Paris

Hello Barbara
I tried to add you on Facebook but for some reason it isn't working right now. I will try again later today. Glad to hear you are back to work. What are you doing now?

Hello Barbara
I owe you such a huge apology because I still haven't answered your email on LinkedIn. It is so nice to see you here as well. I am so all over the map these days with marketing the book and real estate. Most days I forget which end is up. Are you also on Facebook? I seem to be spending more time there of late.

I wish you such a wonderful Thanksgiving and giving thanks and counting our blessings should start with that first breath we take in the morning.....It's a new day!

Love
Irene
