Bee Balms & Burgundy
If you enjoy strong-but-feminine women, sexy love stories, hot romance stories, romantic fiction, romance novels, sensual fiction, women's fiction, sentimental fiction, great novellas, award-winning fiction, Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts, or Richard Paul Evans, you can read chapter five of Nelson's Bronte Prize-winning novella, Bee Balms & Burgundy, right now for free at nelsonpahl.com. (See for yourself why it beat out Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts, and Richard Paul Evans, among others, for the title of "North America's Best Love Story of the Year.")
Bee Balms & Burgundy (Debut Novella)..... First Book
In this rousing story, Nick May is a successful Gen X entrepreneur now
living in Vancouver. At 32, he's lost patience with live-in girlfriend
Sonja, as well as business partner Jason. Upon a late summer visit to
his hometown of St. Paul, he reacquaints with childhood neighbor and
lifelong friend Mia. Unbeknownst to Nick, Mia is now a post-mastectomy
breast cancer survivor, with her cancer currently in remission. She also
harbors another powerful secret—one that will change Nick forever.
To every woman who has fought
the battle, and the subsequent
self-doubt and fear,
win or lose...
I offer my respect
Peace & Love

Two for Tuesday ...... Second Book in Progress
Emmanuelle Foshey—“Manny” to friends and lover—is a 29-year-old former
Chicago jazz dancer and current Minneapolis ad exec. Seven months ago,
in a strange event, she met publisher and philanthropist Cameron Stiles.
Today, after mending their past heartbreaks, Manny and Cam nurture an
epic, immaculate romance.
Cam lives in the small town of Cannon Valley, 40 minutes south of his
St. Paul offices; he lives in a cute raspberry sorbet Victorian, at
which Manny spends most of my time. Cam’s seventeen-year-old neighbor,
Corey, is a California transplant; he’s also a domineering, single
mother’s only son and a social outcast. Every day, Corey finds it
increasingly difficult to cope in his new surroundings. Cam and Manny
lend a wing; day or night, there’s almost nothing they won’t do for the
kid; they adore him.
Then, tragedy strikes…
And nothing remains the same.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

I hope all is doing well with your book. My book has been out since November 2006. It is listed in about 180 bookstores worldwide. I am a new author. So my question is, am I off to a good start? Also does it take you a long time to receive royalties? I also wanted to find out more about virtual tours. How is that working out for you?
Just dropping in to say "Hi" and see what you have been up to lately!
Best,
Susan
