About Me and My Book:
Hello,

Thanks for visiting my page. I am a primary school teacher in the UK. I work 4 days a week and when I'm not teaching I help promote by Dad's children's books, 'The Piggi Family Tales' by Dave Donicci at www.PiggiTales.com

I also try to encourage and inspire children with their writing and art by running online competitions for children aged 4-17 years.

I'm looking for authors and illustrators of children's books who are able to review 2-3 pieces of children's writing or art work each month. In return you get to promote your books or artwork to your target audience (children and their parents and teachers).

I am sending this out to BMN members who specialize in any aspect of children's book publishing, whether your an author, artist, publisher, or offer some other valued skill needed in the creation of children's books.

I have found ning in general to be the best marketing and reference tool compared to any advertising, networking, or leads I have ever used -- free or paid for. And all it's costs is our time.

Many of you are already in my friend network, and thank you for sharing your work with me. For those of you reading, this that I have not introduced myself too, I would like to now, and ask we be friends so I can follow your craft as well.

We all need to support each others work through this economic distress, no stimulus or bail out is going to help us.

I admire your dedication to children. The books are lovely so. Also, by the way, is the horse you are on in your picture. I'm retired now, just completed a childhood memoir. As an inner city kid I saved all my nickels to buy a horse, and finally bought one, sight unseen, with my first paycheck. I had been on a horse twice! Bought a little quarter horse, tried to teach him to be a jumper, and had the bruises to show for my effort. Sorry I don't do children's books, but I have a friend who does and I'll send her along to you.
