- I'm Birdie... a freelance writer...
I'm actually many things...a mom, a grandma, a wife (celebrating 27 years of marriage to my best friend in the whole world) a marketing guru, a real estate professional in the multifamily housing industry, an entrepreneur, a cat lover, a really loyal friend...and the list goes on!
I manage multimillion dollar assets, take care of the people I love, promote the people I respect and make time to persue things that have substance. I believe in God...I believe in silly things like miracles and faith...and I find ways to express how important the silly things can be to very fabric of life.
My clients are special people...so I brand them! They are far more than their bottom line or their company initiative...they are brilliant, creative, hopeful, imaginative, successful and fraught with character. They have a message that others need to hear, so I write it. It's one thing to relay formulas for success and state objectives that paint a pretty picture...it's quite another to expose your integrity, your heart, your faith, your weaknesses, your wisdom, your failures...so that others can learn from them. That's what I facilitate with the people I serve. I help high profile leaders unmask their keys to success in real ways that help make their stories accessible and genuine.
I do ghost writing, copy writing, web content, editing and journalism for companies and individuals. I'm adept in building successful marketing strategies for small business and high profile individuals in both business and entertainment industries.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
