Like many parents, Rich Aaron’s book ideas come from bedtimestories with his children. This collection of mixed up animals sprang from nightly rhymes and making up funny names of animals to fit the rhymes.
When his children giggled each night until mommy came down the hall to say “lights out” – it was too late; a Kangaraffe and its friends had been let
out of their imagination … and into yours.
Research about dyslexic readers led the author to discover that reading and listening to
rhymes are essential to a dyslexic reader’s skill development.
Would a Kangaraffe Make You Laffe? is Rich’s first children’s book, and the first with 4RV Publishing.
