78 years old. Happily married with two children in their forties and four grandchildren ages ranging from 10 to 22.
Book is a historical novel set in the first month of the Great War which tries to outline the effect of the events of those first few weeks on a small community in a Kent village. It is called: A Pattern of Shadows. It took 6 years to write, mainly due to the amount of research I had to carry out. There are many more details in the web site.

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

It was superficial, I know, but at first I liked your smile. You seemed rather content with your place in the world, and I thought to myself, I'd like to have a friend like that. Thanks for accepting me and good luck with your work.

Hi Ralph! I was pleased to see both of us use history to tell the story. The Great War is always an interesting subject, at the moment I'm reading "Silent Night" which covers the truce on Christmas Eve.
