- I am the co-author of the mystery/speculative sci-fi novel, Secret of the Sands:

The story has a double storyline, where the story moves between the present day and ancient time. The story arcs of the present & ancient times mirror one another, as the stakes get higher in one, as the conflict intensifies, so does the other. In the present time, we see the story through the eyes of two young archaeologists working in the field in Egypt. They are trying to prove themselves, and hold some highly controversial and contentious theories about ancient Egyptian history that are rejected by the establishment, and puts their careers in peril. As they uncover a mysterious artifact, and begin to decipher the incredible secrets it holds, the story goes back into the past, bringing to life for the reader the details of what they are learning. They are startled to find that this artifact seems to lend support to their theories, and so they keep their activities quiet until they can prove them. Each time they learn something significant about their find, the story goes back to the past to explain that aspect more fully. However, the full truth, in both timelines is not known until the end of the book.

It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
