I'm the founder-CEO of fReado.com - a site where we provide free online book marketing technology for authors. The technology is called BookBuzzr. The idea is that an author can allow visitors to his / her blog or Facebook profile to immediately sample the author's book-extract and share the book-extract with others. We provide one-click connect to over 60 social networking sites and book-marking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, Delicious, Digg and more. We believe that every author will be able to enjoy increased online visibility by using this simple BookBuzzr tool. I'd like to explore the possibility of partnering to help authors better market their book.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

The other side of the business involves knowing how to sell your book, pitching your idea to editors/agents, and building a following. The next few posts should help target some of these topics down the yellow brick road. Never underestimate the power of online marketing.
