Award winning Science Fiction Romance author Kayelle Allen developed a universe for her books, including a broad sweep of ten-thousand years of history, a full language, and tradestandard laws. Her wry humor and surprising twists generated the motto, "Think you know what'll happen next? No way! It's by Kayelle..." The author of both hetero and gay romances, she created a 130-page website, and coordinates numerous multi-author online promos. She’s currently writing a new SF Romance trilogy for Loose Id.
MARKETING
Kayelle founded Marketing for Romance Writers, a group that helps authors of all genres learn about marketing, it is also open to agents, editors, publishers, author promotion services, and artists. The group's mission is to help authors learn what to do about marketing, where to do it, who to do it with, and why. Kayelle's experience in the administrative aspects of the corporate world honed her skills in software and organization, and project management experience fine tuned her ability to structure and plan. MFRW, as it is fondly called, provides a newsletter featuring new releases for all members, author excerpt books for various genres and heat levels and holidays, and a bulletin enabling calls for submission, info on special workshops, and more. "No fee, always free" workshops are available and volunteers seeking a way to hone their expertise are welcome to offer their services.

Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
