Midnight Revelations, volume one of The Dark Whispers Series, is a paranormal thriller set on a vintage horse farm in Virginia. When Sara and her family move onto the property, they are unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows of the past. In a race against time, Sara is forced to piece together a scandalous thirty-five year old mystery, and in doing so, is forced to come to terms about her own identity. The novel weaves together the complexities of shattered families, psychological defenses, and haunted souls. Karen M. Bence has a BA in Psychology from Dickinson College and a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a social worker, psychotherapist and educator. Karen lives on a horse farm in Georgia and breeds champion Great Danes.
I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.
Midnight Revelations - vol. 1 in the Dark Whispers Series was announced as the winner in the Fiction & Literature - Horror category in the Best Book 2009 Awards sponsored by USA Book News.
