Meet Detective Lijoi, as he deals with Mafia figures to recover millions of dollars in stolen bonds, is shot at by fellow police officers, leads a high speed chase through three states, and helps to seize millions of dollars worth of drugs and weapons.
Brooklyn raised and street tough, Detective Ernest Lijoi takes on a new identity as Eddie Pannoni and hits the pool halls and bars in Quincy, Massachusetts, working his way up the chain of dealers and suppliers until the day the trap is sprung and Local and Federal Police raid dozens of homes and businesses in one of the most dramatic and widespread busts in the history of New England.
His secret life on the streets takes its toll on his family and his wife is at the breaking point as she witnesses the change in her New York boy.
Street Business is based on a real detective and real events. Read Street Business, meet Detective Ernie Lijoi and his street guise Eddie Pannoni.
I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.
Ernest, Sorry it took so long to get back to you! How is your book going?
I trying to get myself organized. Writing a book, Driving a truck 3000miles a week and working on a new biz is a little crazy. So there are all my excuses :)
With your book, who does your marketing?

Here in the UK, as soon as we publish our book with our name with the copyright symbol my understanding is that we automatically have that copyright (providing the work is original and not copied). I believe that in the US you actually register for copyright. So I guess that is what you have to do. No doubt someone on this site can tell you where.
Hi Ernest, the advice that I have had from my lawyer is that registering your work for copyright is essential. I list mine with the Writers Guild and lodge copies with my lawyer.
thanx for asking! we are always looking for interesting books to publish.
i'll keep you posted ok? (there is something wrong with xoxopublishing.com submissions tab ... gotta look into that)
