Every word in this memoir is true. C'ante Ishta, the author's pen name, is Lakota for "the Eye of the Heart." With this Eye, C'ante Ishta watches and listens as few human beings do, observing the signs and miracles so often missed. This is the amazing story of the synchronicities, miracles, and the White Buffalo Woman's angelic intervention that united C'ante Ishta with his soul mate from across the world. He says, "I had been prepared for open communication with the spirit world. The way God set up all the Karmic Circles in my life allowed me to see the connections between all of the seemingly insane experiences in my life. I am sure everyone has the same intricate connections in their lives, I am no different. I have simply been blessed to be given the opportunity to 'see my life flash before my eyes' in what has essentially been a seven-year-long near-death experience." This book is one of a kind in it's acknowledgement of the White Buffalo Woman as a powerful prophet, angelic personality and divine force that is positively influencing the course of the human experience in a joint effort with Jesus Christ to make World Peace a reality.
About the Author
C'ante Ishta, who heard the call of the Christian and Lakota religions in his early teens, lives with his Brazilian wife in a small town in Northern Arizona. Raised by his parents in the small community where they both taught public school, he is a certified teacher with a master's degree and is currently working as a child advocate in a public school. The author has worn many hats in the past, working as a martial arts instructor, teacher's and veterinarian's assistant, substitute and English teacher, lifeguard, hiking director at a summer camp, landscaper, janitor, and as an acupuncturist's apprentice. In his free time, C'ante Ishta pursues martial arts, meditation, reading, hiking, wildlife conservation, Chinese medicine, and kayaking.
C'ante Ishta has traveled to destinations including; Indian reservations, Communist Cuba, Bob Marley's former resting place in Jamaica, and all over the American west. He has participated in faith based Healing Prayer, Sweat Lodge ceremonies, and interfaith religious services; the most memorable of all was his opportunity to sing "Amazing Grace" in both English and Lakota with the great, great, great, great granddaughter of the Lakota chief Crazy Horse.
The inspiration to become an author came from the many times C'ante Ishta was fortunate enough to have his life saved and in return save the lives of others.

Ah! A fellow English teacher. You know C'ante, once an English teacher always an English teacher. Have you heard that one before? You're book sounds interesting. I will look into it.
