About Me and My Book:
I began writing as a child and self-published an inspirational piece a few years ago. I have completed the first of a children's book series, A Day For The Animals. And, I'm in the process {sigh} of rewriting the intro chapters of my first mystery (which is my favorite genre). The title is The Waiting Place. It is centered around a young man returning home from overseas for his wedding and his fiancee is murdered. The incident is linked back to the young man's wealthy parents who are in the midst of a hotly contested divorce.

The story: What if you said a prayer and then changed your mind. But before you could take it back, God answered it? When Roger Grayson said the animals should rule the world, God was listening. And his family will never be the same again.

For one day the Graysons live among the animals and learn the meaning of love, courage and commitment. Grade 3 Reading Level; 80 pages.

In the beauty of His creation lies the answers to our never ending quest for purpose and truth in our troubled world which Howard elegantly and delicately shares with her readers. This book is a must-read and not only for animal lovers!" - Dr. Kim Bloomer, veterinary naturopath, author, and host of Animal Talk Naturally.

Hiring a Ghostwriter

Even if you can write, it might make more sense to hire one or more ghostwriters to provide your articles. Needing hundreds of articles in a short amount of time will make it necessary to hire several.

There are many reasons to have someone else do your writing. The hard part is, finding a good, affordable ghost writer. You can post a bid request for the work at one of the freelance sites, such as www.elance.com or www.rentacoder.com , but you may not get a writer who can do a decent job.

Article Marketing and How It Works

It is an estabilished fact that Article Marketing works by a large number of Internet Marketers in wide variety of niches. This has been repeatedly proven. However, those who have not ever attempted article marketing tend to think that it is harder or more time consuming than it actually is.

Starts by writing an article. This can be done by yourself or you can hire a ghost writer. The cost of ghost written articles is usually less than $10.00 for a 300 to 500 word article. It is important that… Continue

Making Money From Publishing Newsletters

A Poem by Glome

I'M EVERY AGE I'VE EVER BEEN

( I have put eternity in their hearts Eccl 3:11)

The first three years

were filled with tears

& laughter & colors & every sound

& sitting & standing & falling down

Then around four I focused in

Why, the world was filled with women & men

& kids & animals that all had needs

I wasn't the center, or even the lead

After accepting this terrible fix

I was ready for five & then on to six

I learned to leave Mom &… Continue

Hi Barbara,

Congratulations on your children's book series, A Day For The Animals. I just wanted to mention to you a website I built called AlreadyPublished.com. It's for authors to promote their book. You do so by posting your book's first chapter, giving readers a peek into your book. The site is free and the list of books is growing, so please check it out. :) BTW, good luck with your books!

p.s. You can also check out this blog post on the Already Published Ning Network, I explain how to post your book. You can also learn more about the website there.

Best,
John

I am sending this out to BMN members who specialize in any aspect of children's book publishing, whether your an author, artist, publisher, or offer some other valued skill needed in the creation of children's books.

I invite you to follow my blogs and comment, critique, and network with me as friends (so I can follow your work too).

I have found ning in general to be the best marketing and reference tool compared to any advertising, networking, or leads I have ever used -- free or paid for. And all it's costs is our time.

Many of you are already in my friend network, and thank you for sharing your work with me. For those of you reading, this that I have not introduced myself too, I would like to now, and ask we be friends so I can follow your craft as well.

We all need to support each others work through this economic distress, no stimulus or bail out is going to help us.

In my latest blog post, you will also see three other ning networks that I have created. One for children's book professionals/enthusiasts, one for southern/Tennessee writers, artists, etc., and one for WillowRaven clients (present, past, or future) or simply just fans of my work. I invite you to join the appropriate ones for you as well.
