- I'm an author and poet, former teacher, freelance writer and in charge of running a literary event, the Los Angeles Black Book Expo, www.labbx.com. As a freelance writer, I’ve contributed to local college and community newspapers in addition to a few start up magazines. I also co-host an internet radio show.
