About Me and My Book:
I have been a writer all my life, constantly on the hunt to develop new ways to convey a story and entertain an audience. I've helped others perfect thier scripts, novels, plays, wrote, submitted and had published countless short stories and even sold one script a few years back ... but it took forever for me to cross that bridge to sit and write a 'novel' while doing 'un-related-to-writing' work as a career (i.e., retail management).

Butta' and the Tower of Bling is my first novel with two others releasing by 4th quarter 2007. God willing, by the third book, I will have finally gotten the hang of this publishing industry and do what comes natural to me ... steering clear of work that isn't me at all. As a result, I am much happier and I don't kick the dog anymore.

Well, not during the day anyway.

A Farewell Open Letter to New York - A quasi-spoken word/poem/haiku

This is a letter that has been a long time in the thinking. 38-years of existence in a city that has done nothing but take from me, I am proud to say I am finally leaving this god forsaken city and state … and I will never look back once the tires cross the state line.

Hi everybody! I added two more book trailers to the videos! One by Michael Schindler for his book Operation Military Family ... and another for the Shyster Club.

How's it going Corey? You're making the big move this month, right? Make you contact me when you get settled in. My husband and I will invite you and your wife over for dinner or something.

Hi Corey! Thanks for the comment. There's not much more to tell about my journey as a writer, up until this point. Of course, the passion has been brewing for many years, but I believe my true journey is going to start now that my book is in print. So I will definitely have more to share as I go through the 'published author experience'.

By the way, I saw your forum about book trailers and replied to it. I would consider doing one, but I need help with the graphic design aspect. Take a look at the reply I sent through your forum and get back with me.

Blessings,
Alicia

Congratulations Corey. I spent a few years in retail management after grad school, and like you say, now it's good to come home and not kick the dog. Don't forget to check your Amazon rankings at Aaron Shepherd's Sales Rank Express, http://www.salesrankexpress.com/.

Hi, Corey. Your book sounds inviting. Glad to learn that your dreams and activities of writing are coming to fruition in published works. Good luck with your book and the two that are forthcoming. Looking forward to seeing you around the website, if not in reality.

Take care,

Hugh

Go to it. Get your dog to bring you coffee and a cinnamon roll from time to time so you can stay at your computer for up to 4 hours before you have to go stretch. May it go well with you. Alaska Jim
