- D Tyler is a Minister at Silverlake Church and is located in Houston, TX.
Additionally, D Tyler serves as Publisher & Executive Editor at 4 Hope Unlimited Publishing, Chief Branding Officer at B3 Marketing Group PR, Chief Executive Officer at Split Water Records, and Founder & Executive Director of Inspirations of Hope Global Ministries (a writing development ministry as healing for those who are hurting). She is also an author and Gospel Spoken Word Artist. She performs and has served as an evangelist keynote speaker lifting up the name of Jesus sharing her testimony of trials, tragedy and triumph at churches, conferences, retreats, prayer breakfasts, seminars, workshops and numerous special event programs (www.dtylerbrownministries.com).
Prior to joining Silverlake Church, D Tyler served as Senior Pension Analyst at Cooper Industries, Inc. in Human Resources in the Employee Benefits Retirement Plans Department for almost 25 years coordinating the pension and group insurance audit, developing retirement benefits and investment communications, and served as editor of a quarterly retirement newsletter.
At present, D Tyler is a member of WomenNPower International Ministries Network, Inc. (formerly Texas State President and President Houston Chapter) www.womennpower.com National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment (www.nabfeme.org) Director of Houston Gulf Coast Chapter, Houston Association of Black Journalist and Christian Poets. She serves on the board of Multicultural Women’s Council, Inc. and President of “Just SIP’PIN” (Non-Profit Organization) www.multiculturalwomenscouncil.org. Associated with American Christian Writers, Inspirational Writers Alive!, and Black Writers Alliance.
D Tyler attended The University of Louisiana – Monroe where she studied Business Administration and Accounting and earned a Bachelors degree in 1974. She also attended Southwestern Paralegal Institute where she studied Legal Assistant courses and earned a Certificate, She also attended South Houston Bible Institute where she studied Communications (Prepration and Delivery of Sermons). D Tyler also attended the teaching ministry of Rev. Samuel Ammons at Liberty Baptist Church for 13 years. Received ministry license through WomenNPower International Ministries Network and FulGospel Bible College and Seminary studies, and attends annual writers conferences, seminars and workshops.
D Tyler’s core expertise includes conducting legal research, research of scripture for bible lessons, writing, publishing and editing Christian books, articles, newsletters and workbooks, teaching and exhorting the Word of God and marketing and public relations experience generating flyers, designing and writing post cards and press releases for distribution. D Tyler has published her first book and is currently working on her second inspirational book with novels and Christian workbooks planned for the future.
In her personal time, D Tyler enjoys spending time with family (husband, son, grandson and my 80 year old mother) writing, reading books, meditating on the Word of God, deep sea fishing, movies, bowling, tennis, traveling the US, taking cruises and professional and social networking
