About Me and My Book:
I work as a freelance writer and editor. My recent novel, "Painting The Invisible Man," was just released in September by The Reed Edwards Company. Written as a contemporary historical fiction, the story explores the complex dynamics of an Italian family on the fringes of the Mafia.

What gives this story an added twist is that it is based on true events. In 2001, a keying error led me to discover dozens of news articles written in the 1990s that referenced my father. This would not have been all that strange except for the fact he died in 1976. The headline that caught my attention mention how the FBI had audio tapes of a mob enforcer talking about a 20-year murder he "got away with." The "enforcer" on the tapes was acquitted of my father's murder.

Good Morning,

Your question on book buyers...is it in relation to selling your book to a company that pays a set fee contract for your work or how to get book companies to sell your books? Companies as in Amazon, B & Noble, Target and so forth?

Hi Rita,
Just listened to the Blog TalkRadio interview. You did a great job and it should sell some books.
We have similar backgrounds, although I'm an older generation, regarding writing and the terrible things that happened to our respective fathers.
I'm looking for faster ways to communicate with group and individuals regarding marketing ideas, blogging and newsletters.
Bouncing ideas off a white/comment board is not good.
Look at my website www.tombarnes39.com and I'll check out your site. Lets communicate.
Sorry I missed your message Feb. 5 on this same subject. But I'm just learning about the Internet.
Thanks,
Tom Barnes

Hi Rita,
Your story and the radio show are both interesting, but I'm not a teckie and don't really know what I'm supposed to do.
This board is not very user friendly.
Sorry,
Tom Barnes
