- After writing several articles for magazines, I finally took a leap of faith and published my first children's book, Chipo's Gift. I was a special education teacher for 14 years and had to step out of the classroom due to health issues. Chipo's Gift has provided me with an important connection to my past profession. Has it brought me full circle? Well, not exactly, as I see myself as more of a square.
