The last couple of weeks have been significantly interesting as I worked to get my titles moved to both CreateSpace and LSI. For one thing, the file dimensions for the covers were vastly different from what I was working with before, and as I can only generate RGB image files it was touch and go whether I could use them for pdf files. Finally, LSI generously corrected the revisions for me as I told them what the problems were. In theory, most of my books should be up and ready to order through L…

Well, it appears that the divorce from Lulu is final, for me at least. I just put all but one of my books up on Amazon's Kindle platform, and I sold about 20 copies (one or more of each) in 24 hours. This versus one book in three months. Kindle users were starving for new books, poor babies, and I was very surprised at the reaction. I have been in communication with Lightning Source, Inc., the distributor Lulu has been using with its enormous printing resource. It will take a little more money to establish my account with them but that may pay off in the long term as it becomes a direct link between Ikthalion Press and booksellers. This is what I wanted to do in the first place but did not know how to do it at the time. The set-up charge is reasonable, and the printing cost per unit ordered is phenomenally lower than Lulu's…

Welcome to the network. I like the look of your books. I read Five Rings (translated by Thomas Cleary) a while back. I would like a look at your translation. Is it available in the UK?
Hope you find this forum useful :0)
