About Me and My Book:
My first book is titled The Journey: The walk of a lamb. I believe the title speaks much as to what the book is about. It tracks a year of what it is like to newly give your life to Christ and the things that come against an individual to try and persuade them back to the old life they once lived. This book is based on a calendar year and the events of joy, dealing with tragedy and still able to find peace in the midst knowing Jesus is driving on the journey.
Inspirational to any new lambs that are facing challenges in their walk with Christ.

Hi, EJ.

Book cover design is critically important to a book. The old adage, "don't judge a book by it's cover" is wrong. In our attention starved world, we make instant decisions whether to buy a book or not by its cover.

Cover designers come in all shapes and sizes. It is best to work with one who has experience with book covers—preferably one with experience in your genre. The more experienced the cover designer, the more you should expect to pay. A good cover design may cost between $700-$5,000. I know that's a wide range. The mean is around $1,500.

To get a list of cover designers I have worked successfully with in the past, go to my blog, http://bookprint.blogspot.com. Go to the March 2005 postings to look for cover designers.
