We lived in the foothills of Kilimanjaro and the wonder of waking up everyday to the view of that mountain never waned. Then, of course, there are the spectacular parks, the beautiful coast, and the wildlife.
If you're looking for a beautiful place to visit, come to the Keweenaw Peninsula of Northern Michigan. The coastline is varied, from volcanic aggregates to sandy beaches to sandstone cliffs and then there's that great inland sea, Lake Superior.
