Hello, I'm Bert Martinez, I'm looking to network with success minded authors. If you would like my free report 30 Strategies for Selling More Books just fill out the form below. I look forward to networking with you and if there is anything that I can help you with please do not hesitate to contact me.
Am I correct in assuming that you browse a ton of sites for serious wannabe authors? Have you been to Nathan Bransford's blog/site? He's an agent and gets tons of serious (not-yet-published) writers posting there.
Any chance you're coming to CO in April for the Pikes Peak Writers Conference? Or is that too much with your LA trip?
I guess a good lead for me is anyone that is a beginning or intermediate writer. They either don't know what a query is or know but don't know how to craft a good one (for mags, agents or books). I don't do as much consulting (to writers) as I used to because I'm too busy with full-time writing/editing/PR clients and pitching the book - so I'll be sure to send interested writers your way!

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hi Faye!
Thanks so much for your friend request. {grateful}
Looking over your site, I see we have much to discuss. {excited} I'm really looking forward to networking with you!
Faye, I'd love to connect with you to share how we could be a support to each other. i offer similar services from a creativity coaching and intuitive/wholistic perspective. All my best, Beth
I want to show off my latest cover design for one of the books I am illustrating and invite you to comment on my latest blog post introducing Puff Bear Goes to the Hospital and it's author.
Congrats on making your two quilts - that's quite an accomplishment. And bravo for helping people to improve their writing. I'm aghast at some of the writing I see from professionals. Nice to hear that people are interested in bettering their skills.
Nice to hear from you. Yes, I speak Mandarin, though "fluent" is a lesson or two away. I say I speak it "courageously," yet as I teach logic in a Mandarin-Chinglish mix, I suppose I must have some skills.
Thanks for the invitation to the Pompano Beach Writers Meetup. Unfortunately, I'm pretty busy right now starting a new business venture. As you can probably imagine, it has me chained to my computer! It's hard to predict when the smoke will clear and I'll have extra time, but I'll keep the meetings in mind for the future.
