Three Boats Along the Forgotten Spring
By David Dearborn
<br>
Three boats along the forgotten spring
Alive with dreams of flight.
A beau who lost his heart to sting
And therefore found the night.
<br>
A trav'ler by a shallow way
Lay livid from his wants.
-Light as a lie, and only he
Was hidden in his taunts.
<br>
The third I knew, was close to him
When some say he fell sleep.
But I am in his boat, on helm.
And inside him is me!
