My daughter attempted suicide when she was 16-years old. After ICU and life support, she finally pulled through. It was a very painful time for all of us and today, she will tell you she isn't sure why she tried it.

suicide is a horrible thing and it leaves a lot of pain to those left behind. I tried it when I was seventeen because my boyfriend was with another girl. I took all my mothers pills and went to bed. It was only a miracle that my mother came in to talk to me and found me unconsicous.

After a week in the hospital I finally got well but I remember the pain that I put on my parents and the fear that I might try it again.

Move forward twenty years and my youngest son tried it and it brought to mind again of what my parents went through with me. He promised not to ever try that again and he didn't. I did lose him two years ago though due to a car crash. He was killed instantly.

Your book is much needed as so many kids today try suicide and many succeed....I wish you well in the sales of your book....,my latest book is my life story as well....and they are hard to write. Shirley
