I'm sure there are many but there's an intriguing article in the most recent issue of Atlantic that all writers should begrudgingly read. The article outlines how search engines are rewiring our brains and indeed could be making some of us less inclined to comprehend deep, long passages of writing. Interesting stuff. In other news, just finished a one-act and have hooked up with a couple of playwriting groups in the Southland. Normally I close myself off and just work on stuff, but I've come to realize that turning a corner is necessary too. In any event, the one act is kind of ribbing to conversations I had with a pay-or-play film producer a few years ago. I'll keep y'all posted on this little project.
