Good Times and Bad Times - a SC Book Festival review

Book festivals are fun - you get to meet new authors and some more familiar ones alike. You get to renew friendships and acquaintances from other areas of the writing life. I was a volunteer at the SC Book Festival for the fourth year in a row. I had a blast, save my horror story. So long story but overall, the book festival was another success. (This is posted in two parts on my regular blog - http://elysabethsstories.blogspot.com) The SC Book Festival was this past weekend and as you can see… Continue

Just created the Junior Geography Detective Squad blog

I just created the blog for my mystery state stories. Check out my blog at http://jgdsseries.blogspot.com. Feel free to leave me a comment, let me know what you would like to see more of and watch the progression of the series all the way to publication.

This is a children's series and the reader will be given clues from the handheld game, just as my characters - friends - Guy, Matt, Jolene and Mary Beth (Matt's younger sister) - are see

Contract for state stories official

Well, I have a contract in the works for my state stories - it is a 50-story/5-year deal with about one new state a month coming out. As per the publisher's info, I will probably see my first story sometime in September or October and then hopefully one a month after that. See a write-up about the series on http://willowravenillustration.blogspot.com/, Aidana WillowRaven's blog, and let her know that she i
