On a more personal note...

Please forgive me for not being around much these days. I appreciate the time that you take to read me, and visit my pages; honestly, I do.

I have been going through a life changing experience, to be truthful, and it has occupied my psyche 100%.

Other than promoting My Journey, the book I published last year, to save my home, I have written another book. The manuscript is finished. I am in the process of doing… Continue

Exciting News!

Help???
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Good morning Dear Reader!

I have finished the first re-write of my novel! I am so excited about this project! It seems as if this has just written itself. It required 30 years of research; and I did spend years making excuses for not writing it, but once I started, I couldn't stop. I'm still working on the polish.

Simple Joy

A Simple Time
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Here we sit, just like we were kids, only with bigger bodies, watchin' 'Daniel Boone' on TV. It's moments like this that make life such a gift. I accept this gift, cherish it and find tremendous joy in sharing it.

Daniel Boone always seemed to do the right thing for the right reasons. He was not prone to i

Good Vibrations, Love and Support

Good Vibrations
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Being the luckiest woman alive is no small matter. There are plenty of women out there who have more tangible possessions than I, more education, or higher position; but are they grateful for it? Or, do they take it for granted? Have the trappings of their lives trapped them into complacency?

I'm a Calendar Girl

I am a Calendar Girl!
For 2009, I created a beautiful calendar of awesome photographs of the beauty of Colorado. Being that my husband likes to take lots of photos of me, I inserted myself as Miss August in the 2009 calendar.

Nothing racey, mind you... Just a photo of me sitting on a log at the falls.

Get your 2009 calendar here: http://stores.lulu.com/triizine

Christmas Past

My Christmas Story...
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Oh, about sixteen years ago, I was spending Christmas as a newly divorced, single mother. I was 26 years old and my son was three. I worked two jobs, just to afford to live in a housing project, in a very scary neighborhood. I had no Christmas tree, I had no money, I had no gifts for my little boy. Not one! Talk abou

The First Amendment

Responsible Writing
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Before you write about someone, whether you like them, or even know them personally, you must do research on your subject. Without proper research, you could unwittingly assert incorrect information, which could ultimately destroy the reputation of that person.

Universal Abundance

Mind Your Motivation
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Close to 100 years ago, a man by the name of Wallace Wattles, in his book, 'The Science of Getting Rich,' asserted that there is abundance for all in the universe; that no one should lose for the gain of another. Mr. Wallace promoted service to others as a means of getting what you desire; in other words, to succeed b

Forever and Always... My Love

Today is my anniversary!
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

I am thankful for the last twelve years.
Through all the laughter and the tears,
We are still in love.

The road has not always been smooth;
It has not always been straight -
But we've walked it together -
Me and my soul mate.

Thank you my husband for the best years o

Holiday Help

Being that times are tough, and I am still under the gun to keep our house, I had an inspiration... You could help me out and kill two birds with one stone, as it were; if you haven't done your holiday shopping yet, anyway.

I have a shopping mall, where shoppers get a discount, and I earn commissions on purchases made there. This shopping mall is not a bunch of stores you've never heard of before, but consists of stores you probably already shop, like: Ta

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends!

What I am thankful for this day...
All of my friends
My wonderful family
The roof over my head
The food I have to prepare
The firewood that keeps us warm
11 years ago today, I was giving birth to a beautiful baby boy
The electricity is still on and the phone is still connected
My eyes that I can see the beauty all around me
My ears that I can hear those who speak to me
My heart that it is ful… Continue

How and Why the Bush Administration Let This Country's Economy Collapse
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Why is it that the economy is in the toilet, and the banks get bailouts while people continue to lose their homes? Well, could it be that the Bush administration was bought by those who were bailed out? The answer is Yes!

I am the Luckiest Woman Alive

I am the luckiest woman alive.
I have so much thanks to give.
What goal is it that I strive?
To make each day better than the one before, for as long as I live.

I am the luckiest woman, you see -
I have all that I need right now.
I graciously give thanks to the powers that be.
Taking care of my wants without worry of how -
Everything I desire, I am open to receive...
Life will simply improve -
That I truly believe.

I am the luck… Continue
