Remember when you were a child and everything in the world was so fresh and new? Everyday was a day of new friends and fun things to do. When things didn't happen just the way you envisioned for that day you could usually stomp your feet or cry and scream to let your parents know how this day is supposed to go and they better make it happen. From this tender age you were very aware of the buttons that needed to be pushed to get your way. I believe this is where Satan gets his first glimpse of ho…

I had a wonderful interview today with Greg Middleton. Greg worked in the entertainment industry as a composer for some of the biggest recording artists such as Rick James, The Temptations and many others. His new book Real Men is an intense study on the dysfunction of men in society today and what can be done to change that. Greg believes that men play a pivitol role in society and if they fail in their role everyone suffers. However there is no need to fail. He has practicle insight that will…

My deepest condolances go out to John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who lost their 16 year old son, Jett nine months ago. And to all parents who have lost a child. A parent never gets over this loss, as it is the deepest wound a heart can suffer.
Former President Bush and wife Barabara lost their daughter when she was a little girl to cancer and Academy Award Winning Actor, Cliff Robertson lost a grown daughter too. Cancer is a terrible disease, and we all need to fight it, which is why part of t…

There were many things I learned (when reaching out to others) regarding their special dream experience that was very different from my own experience. One topic in particular, that really stood out, were the stories from women who had miscarried a child and then saw the baby later on in a special dream. Here is one of the stories that was sent to me and I hope this helps other women who have gone through this loss.
Introduction: I had gotten married in August 1988, and it was almost five years…

My book comes out in just a few weeks and it has taken me over two years to get here. What I have found is that the book, (which I know I was suppose to write after ten years of researching and not finding any answers to my own experience) is taking me on a journey and so I thought it would be good to share what I have learned along the way.
Not only did I find out more about this dream experience by interviewing over 300 people but also in the last year by taking my book across the country and…

I seldom enjoy books longer than 350 pages, so I was intimidated when this book came in at a whopping 608 pages. Ouch! I almost shoved it to the bottom of the growing TBR pile.
But I've read this author before, so I decided to glance at page one. "Only page one," I muttered under my breath... But page one was enough. I was hooked!
There's nothing that hooks me on a book quicker than a skilled author making me care about the main characters. And that's exactly what Laurel Rain Snow does in Web…

In the USA, an estimated 906,000 children are victims of abuse & neglect every year, making child abuse as common as it is shocking. Whether the abuse is physical, emotional, sexual, or neglect, the scars can be deep and long-lasting, often leading to future child abuse.
