Carol Bloggidy blog blog

This all started innocently enough. Ning makes it easy to add applications to each profile page so I thought, why not add an RSS feed so I can have blog posts from other people listed on my page? That way, the other people are doing the writing, and it helps refresh content on my page at the same time. Pretty clever, huh? Surrrrre. Then, I started looking for blogs to list on the RSS feed application, which limits entries to 5. I peruse other people's blogs regularly, but I'm not a regular re… Continue

Tom Barnes GWTW on Location, Nazi Stolen Art and Blogging

Let’s go to the Movies David Selznick had some sleepless nights mulling over his vision for the final cut of his Gone With the Wind film. Not only did it involve the length of the picture it involved the grand scope of every frame. Could they make a larger than life picture within the confines of their back lot? The answer was a resounding NO. Selznick tackled the problem and alluded to a partial answer in a memo dated March 9, 1939 directed to Ray Klune, his production manager, Selznick… Continue

Brian White Long Day

After hours of working and writing, I become spent. I come home and have dinner with my wife and kids. I will then proceed to the living room where my computer sits. I the check my e-mails and whatever else comes to mind. Finally, I like to go over to my T.V. set and turn on the Wii. My favorite past time is playing games. This really seams to relax me and I tend to get a better nights sleep after an hour of playing games. I know it sounds crazy, but that is what works for me when I just need t… Continue
