Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

I am very lucky that someone thought my poetry is
worth publishing. I enjoy writing and hope that it
reaches others as I intend that it will do.
No, I haven't had much education in this field. I
had some, but I keep saying I will take some more
classes. It is that someday thing!
There are many authors here so you shouldn't
have any problems finding authors to communicate
with.

sure I mentioned it to you? I have a hard time
getting my way through a paper bag. (just joking)
Yes, my second book of poetry, "Immortal Feelings"
has been out a few months. I just did a book signing
at Barnes & Noble in my hometown and sold out of the
60 books they ordered plus 10 of my first one. It
was an exciting evening.
I have started my third book in between writing
short stories for Amazon. So John, life is good and
lots of fun.

put on Amazon around the world..Great idea, Publish
on demand...Check it out, I thin they only get 45%
compared to some publishers who get 90%...
