- About Me and My Book:
- I am a single mother of a wonderful little boy, engineer, and author. I decided to write fictional books about womens issues, which most of us have but are afraid to admit. It is a great way to open dialogue without preaching or writing a nonfiction book.
My B.S degree is in Materials Engineering and the M.A in International Relations. After traveling around the world as an Air Force officer, I noticed many similarities among women. Once I was able to return to the states and restart my life as a civilian, that's when I decided to write on women's issues. I'm new to authorship so looking to get into a lot of trouble.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Some of the commonalities, from what I have read about you from you website and brief bio are I am the mother of 3 children 2 of them little boys...I was in the military as well it was the Army instead of the Air Force and although you are a fictional writer of womens issues, I am a fact-ional writer of womens issues, a few of the topics that I write on for example are self-esteem issues, sexual and domestic abuse issues, as well as issues that are so prevelant within the African American culture and our love of writing and reading books.
