IMMORTAL/CHAPTER 1: SPECTER
Tehotep sprawled on the cushioned divan, one leg thrown over the crouch arm, red and black hued carpets were scattered over the hardwood floors. Black marble columns supported the ceilings. The warehouse was lit by oil burning lamps and scented candles, the walls decorated with paintings of mortals coupling with daemons.
He eyed the six addicts lounging about the rooms: four sucking greedily on rush pipes, two others making love in the corner...

I met a wonderful Lady on the other site and she called me and told me about this site. She is very active in her home town with the homeless, and she is also a publisher. I thought that I was lost before I met some of these wonderful people, now I realize that I don't have a clue. They are educating me. And that is what the sites that we belong to are about, helping another human being. I am in a happy place each time that i visit. Stay blessed my friend.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
