- Tom Tuohy is the Founder and President of Dreams for Kids, an international youth and children’s organization, and author of the critically acclaimed book, Kiss of a Dolphin. Tom is an accomplished children’s advocate, author, attorney, actor, speaker, and storyteller, who speaks from his heart with stories of dreams come true.
Dreams for Kids empowers young people of all abilities through dynamic leadership programs and life-changing activities that inspire them to fearlessly pursue their dreams and compassionately change the world.
From Holiday for Hope, the world’s largest holiday celebration for homeless and underprivileged children, to Extreme Recess, the first of its kind sports and activities program for kids with disabilities, Dreams for Kids reaches out to the most isolated of the world’s children, and gives them hope.
Today, we are connecting Dream Leaders, from every ability, race, religion, gender and socio-economic class, to serve the local communities and to grow together as one, to be the first generation to live in a world of peace and sustainability. Join our movement to connect youth and adults in 50 states to 50 countries, in the next 25 months!
Kiss of a Dolphin is the story of Dreams for Kids. It is a story is about ordinary people and how they are making an extraordinary difference in fulfilling the dreams of others. The story begins in the Cabrini-Green area of Chicago, and moves to Chicago's Westside, and to then to West Englewood, rapidly increasing into statewide, national, and then global recognition.
Kiss of a Dolphin is a message of hope, inspiration, and the challenge to make a difference and help dreams become reality.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
