Ted:
I know I first found you by accident a few weeks ago. But what I didn't know then was that I was invited, couple weeks ago from a local marketing event writer/organizer, to join this bookmarketing NET thing that you were already in. So I know these things are reciprocal, and I'm trying to add you on my friends list.
Take Care,
Tim

About Me and My Book:
The working title for my immediate book project is "The Candidate's Bedside Reader."
This is a training manual, specifically designed to prepare candidates for public office to enter their contest from a prepared and informed position. It covers all aspects of political campaigns with a combination of humor, illustrative anecdotes and technical information understandable to a lay person. This book is near completion and will be used in context with candidate training seminars. I have begun work on several other book projects. One is a metaphysical/interstitial Western novel, set in California's Gold Rush era. The others are non-fiction - a genealogical work on my surname line, a book about the modern state of the Oklahoma Choctaw Nation, of which I am a tribal member, a pop psychology/self discovery book, and a compilation of my research and personal experiences in spiritual and holistic healing - an intuitive journey of discovery that led to the healing of cancer.
In November 2008 I retired from the business of political campaign management and lobbying - something I had been doing since 1970. My background includes 28 years of public service in California, working for both the State Legislature and Governor. I am now in the Healthy Chocolate business, which I enjoy immensely after decades of stress in the political arena.
This will be my first published book. I have been extensively published in magazines - travel, historical and cultural articles.
