- Tamara Hancock is a Stay At Home Momtrepreneur with five children. In addition to being a mom, she makes wedding cakes as a small business, works as a Virtual Administrative Manager, and maintains several social functions. She also operates a website that offers support and networking opportunities for other work-from-home moms and dads at www.wahpm.com . (Work At Home Professional Mom).
Raised by a single mother for most of her life, she was taught that there was nothing that she couldn’t do, as long as she set her mind to it. She took this to heart, and learned much from her mother, including her strong willed spirit, inability to give up, and the perfect recipe for apple pie.
Tamara and her husband live with their five children in Arizona. They believe that as a family they can accomplish anything, and teach their children to aim for the moon, but reach for the stars.
My Book, "Confessions of a Stay At Home Mom" I share the many secrets I’ve learned about working from home and raising children. The more I got into it, the more I realized I was sharing my innermost insecurities about being a mother. When I started writing this book, I interviewed other Stay at home- work at home moms, and it was then that I realized I’m less alone than I thought. There are a lot of moms out there, just like me who are afraid that everything they are doing to raise the next generation of the human race may very well be wrong.
As moms we all have these fears, and most of us aren’t willing to face them, and a lot of times we aren’t willing to share them with others. My hopes in writing this book is that perhaps another mom will read them, and they will feel comforted by the fact that they are not alone in raising their family, having a career, maintaining an identity and other fears that we face. I truly hope that I am able to share with you at least one confession of my own, that will help you as you work to raise your precious children and work towards your dreams.
