- My "photo" above is a detail from a large painting begun two days after 9/11. This Blue Punk Goddess emerged as I painted the fires raging in the Twin Towers.
Much to my surprise, I've written THE STAR-SEER'S PROPHECY, a spiritual fantasy trilogy. Kyr, the hero, took over my life and insisted I write his story. It is a passionate exploration of the soul's journey through suffering and healing, evil and redemption, betrayal and forgiveness.
In a world of ritual magic, Kyr is born and raised as a slave of a vile sorcerer-king. He knows only evil, pain and ice, yet he finds himself killing his vicious master. Aided by strangers, he begins to learn of kindness, friendship, and, worst of all, love. Haunted by remorse over his evil deeds as a slave, he follows the hard path toward forgiveness, love and enlightenment. With his forbidden beloved, Jolan, a priestess of the Moon God, he ultimately becomes the Vessel of the Goddess Zhovanya. Together, they bring about the Great Renewal.
This story emerged from my 27 years experience as a psychotherapist and expressive arts guide, and from my own journey on the hard path as a spiritual seeker.
