About Me and My Book:
I have been struggling to finish writing my manuscript which i wrote on and off over a period of 8 years. At that time, I felt the book would not be good enough to warrant anyone to read. You can say that the author is usually the worst judge of his own work. I suddenly realised lately that my book is not a work of fiction but is based on my personal experience in overcoming life's adversity. It will definitely help a lot of people facing the same situation as I did. When I realised the good this book will do, I make it my urgent mission to finish wrting my book and get it published. It's NOW or NEVER.

A teaser from the Preface of my manuscript :

"As I looked back to 1996, little did I realised that the passing of my mother was a harbinger that would drastically alter the course of my life."

Not Letting Our Emotions Get In The Way

Our emotions play a large part in our daily lives. Emotions create our state of mind. The downside is that it always play the culprit, Brutus, to hamper me in completing my book. I hear him saying that nobody will want to read my book. I managed to detached him through Qigong exercises and breathing. I'm back to writing an hour a day to complete the draft for my book.

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Good morning,
I am here for you. It's ironic, people told me the same thing, that motivated me more to complete my book.
Stay encouraged and believe in your dream.

I am not foolish enough to try editing myself... I have a pro that does it for me.

She remains annonymous because she is a publisher and doesn't want the rumor of anything ever being unethical.

She taught literature before she became a publisher and is very, very good... though she isn't cheap.

But I would much rather see an author spend money on their manuscript and make it worthy of a traditional publisher that see them spend $2000.00 to self publish and have a substandard work...you know?

Editing rates are detailed on my site:
