Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Thanks for connecting, Peri. I am in the final throes of finishing a book -- literally days, less than a week -- so I am less present here than I should be, but that will change soon.

But I see that you live in God's country, you lucky woman. My father -- an interesting if troubled old dude -- camped on the beach near Waimea the last 15 years of his life before his demise in 1986. My one visit to see him there in April 85 convinced me I should add it to my short list of places I would be very happy to spend my dotage....

I took a quick look at your website. Very nice, and it strikes me that the Kindle platform could be an important one for you.

Cheers,
Windwalker

Some people are unclear what their true life purpose is and so they flounder unsatisfied from job to job. Please don't stay blocked or stuck before accomplishing what you came here to do. We need your gifts as much as you need to give them!
