About Me and My Book:

The experience I gained from writing this book is worth the effort all by itself. I have met some wonderful people and some not so wonderful people. The reason I decided to write about my own life experiences is because I truly believe that we all go through the same trials and smiles every day. I know it feels good to me when I can speak and listen to others who have been through the same things I’ve been through and say to myself “If they made it through, I can too”.

What Love Is To Me

Love to me feels like neighborhood hide-and-seek at night time. It feels like snowball fights before Christmas and water hoses on a hot summer day. Sometimes I can feel love just by buying Now & Laters, or by dusting off old trophies. Love feels like a wood burning stove inside a tiny house in E. St. Louis.
