About Me and My Book:
Hello, my name is Melody Calhoun. I am a married Christian with three children, and one more on the way. I Love the Lord with all of my heart, and want to devote my whole life to honouring Him in everything that I write or draw. I pray that many are blessed by what He has me record.
My book, By His Sovereign Grace, is a collections of testamonies, prayers, poetry, and dreams to reflect and communicate what my God has done in my life. I am greatly thankful that Jesus has chosen to use me in reaching HIs chosen ones. May you all be blessed greatly by His Love and His grace as you read this book. Amen.

PLEASE NOTE: On my website, I have a blog that I am trying to keep, with my own Bible reflections. Thank you for your interest in my writing. MC

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
