I invite you to follow my blogs and comment, critique, and network with me as friends (so I can follow your work too).
I have found ning in general to be the best marketing and reference tool compared to any advertising, networking, or leads I have ever used -- free or paid for. And all it's costs is our time.
Many of you are already in my friend network, and thank you for sharing your work with me. For those of you reading, this that I have not introduced myself too, I would like to now, and ask we be friends so I can follow your craft as well.
We all need to support each others work through this economic distress, no stimulus or bail out is going to help us.
In my latest blog post, you will also see three other ning networks that I have created. One for children's book professionals/enthusiasts, one for southern/Tennessee writers, artists, etc., and one for WillowRaven clients (present, past, or future) or simply just fans of my work. I invite you to join the appropriate ones for you as well.

We would be glad to review your book.
Thank you for your motivation. As a matter of fact, the dolls came first and then the idea for the books. The first dolls were magical and would appear on the pages of an old story teller, but the stories were about Harriet Tubman and George Washington Carver, among others back in the day. Because I wanted to make the stories more current, I created the world of Oodleville in order to give the dolls an environment of imagination and adventure for children. Now the dolls have developed a mission within their personalities not only to entertain, but to teach. I am amazed myself at the way this life's mission is being revealed to me a little at a time. God is good. Take care and please stay in touch. Paris

There is a pool of Love . . .
that holds all things that are in existence . . .
this pool’s waters are so pure . . .
it washes away illusions . . .
of time and space . . .
. . . with this being said,
what is there to know ? . . .
for even knowledge bows ! . . .
. . . to honor love. . .

Since today is the actual birth date of Dr. King, I thought I'd leave you with the following...
Excerpt From a Poem by L.M. Ross
I marched because
My worthiness was
Shunned. I marched because
A Change
Had to come.
I marched because
A man named
Martin came to
Realign my spine,
And re-ignited
My flame…
And I marched
For me, and
My ancestors,
In Freedom's name.
I marched
And my flame
Sustained the jets
Of water hoses.
I marched
Against the fury of
Those voices
Screaming "NO!"
I marched and
I marched, because
The dictates of
Righteousness
Told me so…
Happy Birthday Dr. King... because of YOU, the flame grows Taller!
Snatch JOY with Freedom's Grip!
** It seems that mere days before Barack Obama takes the office of President of United States, a part of the dream for freedom and equality has finally been realized. Somewhere, I just know Martin must be smiling.
Snatch JOY!
One.
Lin
Thanks for the request, my Sister of The Pen. *smiles* I want to wish you many blessings with your book of poetry. May it become a wonderful success!
January 20th marks the end of an ERROR...
And the beginning of a new ERA in Change!
ImageChef.com Snatch JOY!
One Love.

I found the questions you asked Shelagh on the Forever Friends blog tour very interesting, and her answers informative--things we hadn't known.
Women have been coming to me who have either been abused by clergy or have a loved one abused by clergy, and I've been working with them and aiding them with what I've learned through writing my book, "Innocence Betrayed."
Writing a light-hearted story in "Forever Friends" was a nice change.
You've been pretty busy yourself! Congratulations on your many successes!
Merry Christmas!
Helen
