I am a writer-cum-researcher-cum reporter. I have recently (well 2 yrs ago which is recent in a writer's life) completed a book that crosses the genres of true crime and World War Two/Holocaust history. I am looking for a publisher, either in the USA, UK or/and France. My book's title is 'Die in Paris' and it is the story of the French serial killer, Dr. Marcel Petiot.
You may also like to pop in and see what's happening on my blog. It's not about me, but about Paris,France and the French. You will find it at http//wwwfrench-marilyn.blogspot.com
Thanks so much Marilyn. By the way, I loved your ms and have passed it back to Graeme, He is reading it now and of course, as the publisher, the final decision will be his.
Hope you're having a good Sunday. Having read everything you sent tome last week, I can only hope that Graeme agrees to publish your book if you submit it to him. It looks as if it will be a tremendous read, and I for one would love to see it published under the Mythica banner, though of course, that is up to Graeme.
Anyway, that's just my opinion so I can only wish you luck with your submission, though I have spoken to him about your book and given him my first impressions.
Thank you for getting in touch. i have read about Petiot, and yes he was a vile monster also. I hope you enjoy 'A Study in Red' and perhaps one day, 'Legacy of the Ripper' as well. For the purposes of my fictional story, I of course used all the facts of the case, but my personal 'prime suspect' didn't fit the profile of the Ripper as required in the novel so I used a different suspect but one who could just as easily be the Ripper as my own 'favourite'. I'm delighted of course that the book has attracted the Hollywood connection and can't wait to see the movie version when it's produced.
Once again, thanks for getting in touch and of course for ordering my book. Happy reading, (I hope).

No problem! I found Sophia "here" you can click on my friends and visit her "here" if you'd like. I've got a project with an author in Australia going on at the moment and it forces me to keep some fairly odd hours at my computer. Otherwise, you can get me during regular business hours via e-mail. GOOD LUCK!!!!
Of course I care! It scares me to death to read the HORROR stories (and hear them in person when I go to book shows and festivals) about a bad publishing experience. You can "google" Sophia or visit her page at http://sophiasimmonsonline.com/default.aspx - however, she's a member of this forum. Our "mantra" is that we try and help our authors, because we're writers and authors too. We've beenthere. Writing is an art and publishing is a BUSINESS. Even if you decide NOT to publish with us, send me a note if there's ever anything that we can do for you. Our companies have been in business for over 17 years, we've brought thousands of book to press and what happens in our community has an impact on"us" and our reputation and standing. Self publishing is a great way to get your work out there, it has TREMENDOUS advantages (like the Espresso Book Machine that we offer). When folks have a bad experience, it leaves a bad mark on all of our records. Check out our websites, send me an email and we'll "talk". Look for me at www.aaronbookpublishing.com - or send me an email to tim.rouse@aaronbookpublishing.com.

Before you go "too deep" talk to my friend Sophia Simmons - she published with us Aaron Book Publishing last year and has had great success - please be careful. EVERY bad experience impacts EVERY publisher.
