What is a "Legitimate" Author?
It all began with Mystery Writers of America's approved publisher list. I've been an active member of MWA for years--but at this moment my publisher is not recognized as an approved publisher because they are a small press that doesn't give advances or print 500 books at a time (Mundania uses Print on Demand technology--which many New York publishers do too), though they do pay royalties, never charge authors anything, and take returns (some of MWA's other criter

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Now your really creeping me out...lol. I have lived in and around the Little Creek neighborhood for somewhere around 15 years...lol.
I took art clases at both Norfolk State & ODU, my goal was designing book covers, and here I am doing just that for a Christian PH & freelancing as well... I never thought it would be this easy, so it took me 12 years to even try...lol.
I have a great deal of respect for authors though, I could never learn the patience a writer must show in getting their work seen.
But my biggest joy is reading & illustrating.
Though I can safely say, I have never heard of Christian Horror... that sounds so cool to me.

My mistake, I am just amazed how much you look like her & shared the same name. Spooky huh?
I live in Norfolk VA, so when I went to your homepage & saw a picture of you at a signing in Va Bch, I got chills...lol.
I thought then it had to be you/her...lol.
But if memory serves, I believe she is widowed... though I am not positive on that, it was 7+ years ago & we hardly knew eachother other than both of us having shops in the sale building.
But it is great meeting you regardless. And I like our website.
