- About Me and My Book:
- I love delving into the pages of history as I carry out research for my historical novels. My novels are inspired by true events. My favourite era is the 1st World War, and in the course of my research I have visited the battlefields of France and Belgium. A truly poignant experience.
I am married with three sons and have a little grand daughter.
My two publishers are The Wild Rose Press and Whiskey Creek Press.
My three published novels from WCP are Devils Ridge set against a background of the 1st World War, and Savage Utopia, set in the 1830's and dealing with the transportation of convicts, innocent or otherwise, to the then penal colony of Australia. The sequel to Savage Utopia, is Stolen Birthright.
Holly and the Millionaire is my first published contemporary novel from The Wild Rose Press. It is set against the background of the war in Iraq, and reached No 12 on the Fictionwise Best Sellling Romance list. TWRP have published three other books from me, Cardinal Sin, set against the background of the Vietnam War, Shattered Dreams, set during the 1st World War, and The Trouble With Playboys, set against a background of the 2nd World War.

Christmas morning in Australia
It is a bright sunny Christmas morning here in Australia. I would just like to take this opportunity of wishing everyone a happy Christmas. Hope Santa left you something nice under the Christmas tree. Boo hoo, but my stocking was empty this year. Even the bribe of a can of beer didn't work, so I must have been very naughty this year.
I hope everyone has a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.

Yes, it was interesting. I was surprised at how close together the murders happened in those narrow streets and alley ways. Imagine living there in such appalling conditions. Prostitution would have been the only way some of those unfortunate women could earn money. They didn't get much sympathy either. Had they been wealthy women who were murdered, I bet the search for Jack The Ripper would have been ten times more intensive and they might have caught him.
I am glad I live in these times. I have recently had a book published by WhiskeyCreek Press called Savage utopia, which is a romance set against a background of transporation to the the then penal colony of Australia. Talk about horrific, some of my research actually made be feel ill. You wonder how one person could degrade another in such a shocking manner.
